Precautions after surgery
1. After surgery, go home as soon as possible and rest comfortably.
2. Avoid bathing on the day of surgery. You can take a simple shower, but do not wash your hair.
(*Do not leave your hair wet for about 3 days after surgery, and carefully dry it with a blow dryer, not warm air.)
3. You should refrain from lifting heavy objects or vigorous exercise for about 5 days after surgery.
4. Postoperative medicine can be taken after a meal to prevent pain.
5. Apply an ice pack to the eyes and forehead to relieve swelling for 2-3 days after surgery.
(* However, never touch or stimulate the bangs.)
6. If using a wig, wear it at least one month later.
7-1. Shampoo can be applied at least 3-4 days after surgery, but be careful not to rub the transplanted area hard. If possible, it is recommended that you consult with your doctor for one week according to the hospital's instructions and set the shampooing time.
7-2. Perm and dye can be done at least 2-3 months after surgery. It is recommended that you check it and discuss it with your doctor to decide.
8. The scab formed on the transplanted part will naturally fall off 7-10 days after surgery, so it should not be intentionally removed before that.
9. From one month after surgery, light jogging or cycling is possible, and after 10 days, jumping or fitness is possible. However, it is recommended to start sweating and body-bending exercise after two months.
10. You must refrain from drinking alcohol for 3 weeks after surgery, and for better results, you should consume alcohol after 3 to 4 weeks and avoid excessive drinking. If possible, quitting smoking before and after transplantation is beneficial for engraftment rate.
